Gramsey wanted a picture of her three grandbabies and this is the best shot we got! It is VERY hard to get a picture of these three together! lol!!!! I never seem able to get a decent shot. This one, however, didn't turn out too bad! :)) At least everyone is looking in one direction! lol!!! :) If you notice, we had to bribe them w/candy! :)

We are enjoying our summer. The boys, Gramsey and I got to see "The Hulk" movie last week. It wouldn't have been my first choice (it was definately #1 for the boys, tho), but I was happily surprised! I really liked it! It was waaaaaay better than the Hulk movie that was made back in 2003. If you like Edward Norton as an actor, then you would most likely enjoy the movie. He makes a good "Hulk!" :)

Summer is a fun time of year! Things just seem easier when the sun is shining! Maybe 'cause we aren't cooped up in the house. The fresh air and blue skies feel good! :)

Our Gracie girl (my niece) just turned "2" on May 19th! We have been wanting to take her birthday pics ever since then and, finally, we were able to!!!! I don't know if you can tell, but her little dress has little ice cream cones all over! Sooooo cute!!!!! It was soooooo fun taking her pics and, as always, it was a blast getting to see her!!!! She is our little sweetie! :)

Hey blogger buddies!!! Man, the month of May has been the busiest EVER for me!!! We did "three" slideshows, two graduations, prom pics (from April) and a wedding! Doesn't look like a lot as I write it down, but man, it seemed almost impossible to get it all done!!! I just yesterday gave the website info. to the bride and groom so they could check out their pics!!! Very exciting as I wait to hear what they think!!!! :)) Soooo, the busy month of May is coming to an end. I must say, tho, that I have enjoyed all of our projects and I hope they lead to more! This was a very special month for us as well due to both of our boys "graduating" at the same time!!!! That will never happen again. They are five yrs. apart and there won't be another opportunity like this. Jake will graduate 4th grade down the road, but it won't be at the same time as his big brother (Jackson won't have any more graduations till he is a senior). Soooo, pretty neat for us! It was also pretty neat that Mark and I made both of their graduation slideshows for their schools! :)) It was a lot of work, but oh, so worth it!!!! It's funny the things you do for your kids! :)

Anyway, hopefully, I will be blogging more! I used to blog all the time and I miss it!!! Hope everyone is doing well and having a good week! We are painting!!!! WooHoo!!!! We are pretty much painting the whole downstairs (1st floor). I will post pics!!!! :))

I am soooo excited to be posting the "Wedding Photos!!!!" :)) I took about 300 pictures and these are a handful of my favorites!!! :) We ended up being able to take the "main" posed photos outside and I was very happy about that!!! Hey blogger buddies! I am finally getting around to posting some pics I have recently taken! Woooo! It has been so crazy and busy around here lately, but it is a "good" kind of crazy! Soooo, I am happy!!!! :)) These pics are of Stephanie and Kyle for her senior prom this past April!!! Stephanie and her mom, Carleta, are very, very close friends of mine and I was sooo tickled to be asked to take her pictures!!!! As you can see, I didn't have to do much work except to snap the camera! Steph is beeeeautiful and Kyle, her man, isn't too shabby himself!!!! :)) I took over "100" pictures (I know.........I am C.R.A.Z.Y.)!!!! I can't help myself..........when I start snapping pictures..............I just can't stop!!!! :)) These were a few of my favorites, so I wanted to show them off!!!! :) My only disappointment from this picture session was that it "rained" the entire day!!! :( Therefore, no outdoor pics! They still turned out adorable and, like I said, it's easy when you have such good-looking people to work with!!!! :)) I had such a fun time and absolutely love these pictures and I love Steph and Kyle, too!!!! :)

I did my wedding job today and am excited to get some of those posted soon!!! I was sooo excited 'cause we got alot of outdoor pics (it was gloomy and rainy at first, so we thought it wasn't going to happen). Luckily, it ended up being a perfect day. I will post some by the end of the week!!! :)

Hi blogger buddies! I want to apologize for not blogging lately! It has been crazy around here w/all the picture projects we have going on! We have finished two slideshows and are starting on the third! I did take some preschool graduation pics and my friends senior prom pics, but haven't had a chance to post any! I have been looking back at tons of old pictures (in regards to the slideshows) - anyway, I came across these from last summer and couldn't resist posting them! :) This picture reminds me of lazy summer sunny days and how much I love my babies!!!! :)) It has been raining here for what seems like FOREVER and I am looking forward to the summer and sunshiny days!!!! Can it get here any quicker??!!!!! :))

Oh, I am taking the wedding photos this Saturday! Keep me in your prayers!!!! I will feel less stressed once it is over. I am soooo happy to be the photographer, but I get nervous the closer the day comes. Once I get going, I will be fine - it is just getting started (the anticipation).

Photography Gigs!

Hey blogger buddies! I have some exciting news regarding pictures and photography!!!! I have done a few weddings and taken some pics of children for friends in the past. Ever since my youngest, Jacob, has been born (he's five now), I have done these kind of pics a little less (just no time w/everything else going on). I have done some pics, but not a lot. Anyway............I just got hired to do SEVERAL different photography gigs!!!!!! The first gig will be this Monday. Jacob is in preschool and the four yr. old class is graduating at the end of May. I will go on Monday and take the professional pics of the kids in the caps and gowns!!!! WooHoo!!!!! :) Now, I must mention for the those of you who don't know, that I also took the preschool pics at the beginning of the year. You know the school pics you always get of your kids at the beginning of each year? That's what I did. It was a pretty good success and it was fun to do. Soooooo, they have asked me to come back and do the graduation pics!!!! Now, I also must mention, that the preschool teacher is a VERY good friend of mine who I love to pieces!!!! She gave me a chance to show what I could do and I appreciate it VERY, VERY much!!!!! It feels good that she wants me to come back and do the graduation pics!!!! Thank you, Carleta!!!!!!! :)
Soooo, the next gig will be on May 17th. I am going to do a wedding!!!! I am super excited b/c I haven't done a wedding in awhile and I think it will be sooooo much fun!!!!! Again, it is an old friend who asked me to do it, but I am truly honored! They really trust you on such an important day!!!! I always have lots of ideas planned and hope we can get all the shots in w/out taking up too much time!!!!! :)
Last, but not least, the elementary school where my oldest son, Jack, goes wants us to come back and do 4th grade graduation pictures!!!! I say, come back, b/c we did it last year. They must have liked our work to ask us to come again. We have done the school yearbook for the past two years, as well, so people have gotten to know us pretty well. It is a good feeling to know that people trust you and are pleased w/your work!!!!! :) Photography is truly my thing. I feel like it is the one thing I am really good at. I love to practice and learn from others. If anyone has any advice, especially on the wedding, please pass it on!!!! I would LOVE to hear!!!!! :) I have seen some terrific pics on other blogs which is really cool b/c I see that many of you share my passion!!!! :)
Soooo, lots of picture projects coming up this month!!!!! I promise to blog some of them for everyone to see! Oh, one last note, my niece, Gracie will be turning two this month (May 19th), so I will definately get some shots of her to post and show off!!!! lololol!!!!! She is the only girl (and my baby brother's daughter - he is eleven yrs. younger than me), so we are over the moon for her!!!! :)

Jacob Turns Five!!!! :)

Wow!!! My baby has turned FIVE!!!!! For some reason, it has been easier w/Jacob turning five compared to Jackson turning ten! Maybe Jackson turning ten in Feb. eased me into accepting that his little brother would soon be another year older as well! :) Who knows?! Jacob had a nice birthday! We met some good friends of ours at Galaxy (a big, gigantic playplace for kids). We had pizza and the kids played games and climbed and ran and played for several hours. The next day we had cake and ice cream w/family and lots of balloons which were a BIG hit. My dad (known as "Gramps" to the kids) works at Praxair and gets free helium which is awesome!!!!! Jacob also got to take M&M cookies to preschool (which my mom better known as "Gramsey" made). Thank You, Gramsey!!!!! Gramsey is always helping us out w/things like that!!!! I sure hope I will be a grandma like that some day!!!! :) All in all, Jacob had a fun birthday and got some cool presents, too!!! :) My boys are five and ten!!!! They are growing up fast!!!! We did find out this week that Jacob needs glasses. I had noticed him having a teeny bit of trouble seeing something on the computer. Big brother wears glasses so I went ahead and made Jacob an appointment just to be safe. Well, a month after I made the appt., Jacob had kindergarten registration and, what do ya know?! They also thought he should get his eyes checked. I must admit, I was proud that I had already caught it myself and had already made the appointment!!!! lololol!!!! Sooooo, he had his first eye appt. this past Friday and yep, he needs glasses! He pretty much has something similar to his brother. For them, one eye works good and the other doesn't. The good eye ends up doing all the work while the "lazy" eye stays lazy. Jackson had to wear a patch (over his good eye - it forces the lazy eye to work) for a couple of months to correct his lazy eye. There is a good chance that Jacob may have to do the same down the road. Right now, he is to wear glasses full-time. I was very proud of him when we tried on glasses and picked out a pair. He did really good and we were able to find a pair fairly quickly!!!! I will post a pic when his glasses come in - should be soon!!!! :)
