Cissa's Pippa :)

Here is a picture of my new niece Gracie! She is 10 wks. old and cute as a button!! We all love her so much! She was born May 19th and was a tiny little thing so I nicknamed her Pipsqueak and I was Aunt Cissy Lynn. Well, little Miss Gracie is growing like a weed so her nickname has turned to Pippa and I now go by Aunt Cissa (cool blog name, huh)?! :) Anyway, I had to brag about my new baby girl 'cause I am real attached to her! Little ones tend to do that to us, don't they?! And I am gonna enjoy her now 'cause before I know it she'll be in the 3rd grade!!!!! I still can't believe my baby brother is now a dad himself (he is 11 yrs. younger than me)! Yeah, I know - I'm old! Anyway, when your sibling has a child - all I can say is - it is great!!! It is the next best thing to having your own! Welcome to the world little Gracie! Aunt Cissa will be here every step of the way! Love ya!!!

My Boys! :)

Here is a picture of my two beautiful boys! They are my pride and joy! Jackson Tyler and Jacob Collin! Jack is now eight and will be starting the 3rd grade (I can hardly believe I have a third grader! I mean, I knew I had kids, but they were little kids, not BIG kids)! Anyway, Jack's thing right now is baseball and basketball. He will go outside and shoot hoops forever! He is also growing his hair long. Longer hair for boys is back in style and he is so excited. He loves it! Jacob is now three and totally looks up to his big brother! Jake loves cars and trains and is into Blues Clues right now. He keeps me on my toes (you would think I would be skinny following him around all day). :) Anyway, I had to post a pic of my babies for everyone to see! They are a handful, but worth every second! I am proud to be their mom!

Alone Time

So - here is my question of the day! "?"
I am a stay-at-home mom so it is a rare occasion when I have alone time without my two beautiful boys. Wherever I go - they go too! :)
Anyway, Mark took the kids to the playplace Galaxy this evening and I get to stay home and be alone. YEAH! I am watching lots of TV (should be cleaning, but oh well). Anyway, I just miss those little boys so much! I want the alone time. I crave the alone time. The alone time is RARE! So - my question is - why can't I enjoy the alone time the few times I get it?! I find myself pacing and watching the clock and simply missing them so much! I suppose the answer is that I'm a mother and that's how us mothers are. :) We can't escape our children (and that is probably a good thing). Maybe it is the sign of a good mom! Hey, what can I say?! :) Gotta pat myself on the back when I can! :)
To all you moms out there - I give ya a high five! It's the best and most hard job I've ever done. I love it so much as well.
I think I'll go try and finish the last show I was watching before they get home (cause when they get here I'll soon after be wishing for that alone time again). LOL!
